A bit about me
I'm Will, the founder of Rinsd. Growing up along the coastline of West Wales, I developed a deep love for the sea. Working as a water sports instructor and RNLI beach lifeguard means spending hours in wetsuits.
The Problem Beneath the Surface
Anyone that spends time in a wetsuit will know about stinky kit. Poor wetsuit hygiene increases the risk of skin issues.
Wetsuits end up being cleaned with the weirdest products from washing up liquid to hair shampoo. These don't properly disinfect wetsuits and incompatible, sometimes harmful chemicals cause the neoprene to degrade.
Personal Wake-Up Call
My decision to create Rinsd came after I experienced persistent skin infections which a dermatologist, suggested was due to poor wetsuit hygiene.
Frustrated by the lack of specific, effective, eco-friendly wetsuit wash. I saw the need for a product that could thoroughly clean and disinfect wetsuits without harming the environment.
The Birth of Rinsd
After three years of research and development, Rinsd was born—a lab-formulated, two-tablet system designed to clean, disinfect, and rejuvenate wetsuits whilst being affordable and the most sustainable wetsuit cleaner available.
